It can be tough trying to find inspirational new meals which are both delicious and healthy. However, the new Australian Organic Recipe Book certainly fits the bill. As the first of Australian Organic’s cookbooks for 2019, the collection of delicious dishes, featuring certified organic ingredients, was created by some of Australia’s best-loved chefs and healthy living advocates.

Whether it’s a comforting soup, sweet treat or thirst quencher you’re after, these creative meals and drinks are perfect fare for the Aussie autumn and winter months including buckwheat pancakes with berry compote and coconut cream, Republica organic mocha truffles, organic zucchini fritters, organic beef curry with cauliflower rice, turmeric chicken zoodle soup, black bean spaghetti with garlic prawns, and honey vegemite barbeque lamb roast.

Recipes from this year’s Australian Organic ambassadors and health coaches Luke Hines and Elle Halliwell, feature alongside those from organic influencers such as Dani Venn, Cyndi O’Meara, and Elisabeth Cripps Clark, as well as Australian Organic members Barambah Organics, Cocolife and Bertolli to name a few.

“I’m so passionate about organic produce because I believe the benefits to your health, environmental sustainability and the planet are so immense,” TV presenter and cook Luke Hines said.

“I used to be bullied for being an overweight teen, so I know how transformative it is to turn your life around by embracing clean eating, staying active and having a positive mindset.

“Australian Organic is all about supporting our organic producers and everything they stand for, which is something I wholeheartedly believe in.”

Australian Organic has supported the certified organic industry since 1987. The member-owned, not-for-profit industry body educates and promotes certified organics to protect the agricultural and ecological resources of Australia.

“We’re proud of all the hard work everyone in the organic industry contributes to create the best organic produce and products for consumers,” Australian Organic general manager Niki Ford said.

“Organic is simply how food should be devoid of pesticides, artificial ingredients, preservatives and chemicals.

“We feel consumers have a right to know whether what they’re buying is genuinely organic or not. The Australian Organic Bud Logo is the industry’s official certification stamp providing that peace of mind.

“We hope you enjoy creating and eating these wonderful recipes in this book.”
